YPJ: With spirit of Avesta resistance against genocidal attacks Imrali regime was destroyed

NEWS DESK -The General Command of the Women’s Protection Unit (YPJ) issued a statement on the international conspiracy against the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocelan, which marks its 19th anniversary tomorrow, in which she said that the systems of Imrali were destroyed by the resistance spirit that Avesta Khabur had now with the women and people of Afrin where are resisting the genocide attacks targeting them.

The text of the statement reads as follows:

We condemn and strongly the international conspiracy that was waged against Leader Abo in its 19th anniversary. We salute the resistance of Commander Abo and the resistance of the people of Kurdistan, whose struggle in Afrin has reached the stage of safeguarding the values of humanity. We remember the martyrs of Avesta, Armange,Amarki , Barin all the martyres who sacrificed of their souls to their home   And turned themselves into a flame of fire around the sun that illuminates their day, and renew the era by stepping up the resistance on their approach.

In 1999, the leader of the peoples was handed over in a treacherous and anti-human way to Turkey. For the past 19 years, the occupying powers’ aim was to sever the intellectual relationship between leader  Abo and the Freedom Movement, to eliminate the struggle and to put an end to the history and reality of the resistance of the Kurds. But the Kurdish people and in the four parts of Kurdistan, especially in North Syria and the thought and philosophy of a free and equal life in terms of rights and duties and democratically give the appropriate answer to the forces of conspiracy. The plot that was waged against leader Abo is a black day in the history of the struggle of the people of Kurdistan.

Leader Abo has revealed his strength and goals to free women and a free society and how to build it for all of humanity. His resistance and his position in Imrali once again demonstrated the fact that no power can stand against freedom. Today, the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), which have joined forces with women from all walks of life in Rojava revolution and are spread throughout North Syria , derive their strength, faith and love from the ideology and philosophy of the leader Abo created for Kurdish women. This force, which organizes itself according to the armies’ systems, grows day by day to reach its voice to all the women of the world. Today, all women who derive their light from this day struggle against all forms of authority.

The authority of power did not draw any conclusions from the plot and will not get anything, and today they are trying to repeat the conspiracy scenario again in Afrin. The attacks of the Turkish state and its allies showed its brutal and real dirty face. It destroyed the Imrali regime and the conspiracy against the leader Abo of the day failed in the spirit of resistance to Avesta, the women and the people of Afrin. Leader Abo was fiercely protective of his freedom, as the plot was aimed at this fact. The heroic stand of our resistance people in Afrin defeated the attacks of the occupation on its first day of attacks that complement the conspiracy

We, in the Women’s Protection Units(YPJ)pledge to all peoples and women in the world that we will continue our struggle until all the hopes of freedom-eager peoples are fulfilled. We, as Kurdish women, will not have freedom until the leader Abo is freed. We see the freedom of peoples to destroy Imrali’s systems.

“We strongly condemn the forces that stood behind the plot plotted against the resistance of Leader Abo, and we salute the resistance of our people, the fightersof (YPJ , YPG)and once again recall Martyr Avesta, Amarki, Barin, Armange and all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect the values of humanity.
